It must be nice to know that just because you run slow you have to remain that way? In fact there are several ways and techniques that you can use to improve your running. The ways to train are listed below.

After training for your mile find a flat way and do some hundred meter sprints afterwards. Start fast and slow down when you get to the seventy meter mark. While you are running you can vary your speed. Speed up when you feel like it and slow down to pace when you tire. Another way is to run up and down hills. Think if you can run up a hill fast how much faster can you run on a flat run. Also effective is running intervals, this is run a period of time and rest for the equal amount of time.

While taking these tips into consideration there are two important things to remember. Don’t strain while running it will slow you down and customize the routine for yourself because we all have different strength and weaknesses. Have fun and enjoy.
